Uggs ???????????

Now after reading this will u stop wearing them like pam anderson?

y/ynot

After helping popularize UGGs, Pamela Anderson is now boycotting the boots after learning they're made from real sheepskin.

"I'm getting rid of our Uggs," Anderson, 39, writes in her online diary.

"I feel so guilty for that craze being started around Baywatch days – I used to wear them with my red swimsuit to keep warm – never realizing that they were SKIN!"

It seems Anderson, 39, thought the boots' woolly lining was attached to a synthetic backing. In fact, the boots are made from sheepskin with the fur intact. "I thought they were shaved kindly," she writes.

"People like to tell me all the time that I started that trend – yikes!

Features and benefits of sheepskin

UGG® Australia uses only the best quality sheepskin exclusively. Twin-faced sheepskin is used in many of our core products. A piece of twin-faced sheepskin has been treated on both the fleece side, and the skin side.

The wool of genuine sheepskin is extremely dense (more-so than any synthetic), which provides for a more comfortable and durable material.

Fleece breathes, wicks moisture away, and allows air to circulate, keeping feet dry.

Sheepskin is naturally water resistant %26amp; therefore small amounts of moisture will not seep through or damage it.

UGG® Australia sheepskin is naturally thermostatic %26amp; therefore will keep bare feet warm in temperatures as low as -30°F and cool in temperatures as high as 80°F (Sheepskin will naturally insulate by keeping feet warm in the winter %26amp; cool in the summer.)

The sheep that we use have finer wool %26amp; cleaner skin

Uggs ???????????
Well it took her log enough to realize they are made from sheepskin I mean really what did she think they were made of. On their website it says they are made from sheepskin. I wouldn't throw them out I would just not buy them anymore
Reply:i thought that everyone knew that...that's why people buy UGGs instead of synthetic knock-offs...

anyways, i don't have them and i think they're ugly, so no. it doesn't affect me buying/wearing them.
Reply:uggs are so ugly anway. I NEVER got into them. ppl just bought them bc famous ppl wore them, it's stupid, esp. when worn with shorts or short skirts. Totally dumb!
Reply:I would run around and kill sheep with a chainsaw if it made Pam Anderson Cry. SHE'S A MORON.
Reply:wow! omg I didn't know that!!! :(
Reply:Oh Jeez. This is one more reason for me to hate them. I don't have UGG's but I feel so sorry for the poor sheep. Their is so many spoiled brats that refuse to throw them out, because they think their trendy. They don't care what the little sheep went through.
Reply:Okay, there seriously needs to stop being UGG questions like this.

FIRSTLY, sheep are killed for FOOD, THEN their skin is used as a second source of revenue for UGG boots and other sheepskin products. Sheep would get killed even IF we didn't make UGGs as a food source.

SECONDLY, if we never slaughtered sheep, they would over populate the world.

Do your research before posting this, hun.
Reply:I wear them to keep warm there is nothing else to wear, so shut up about it
Reply:No I wont stop wearing

but i didn't know about theinsulation now i want them even Moore%26lt;3Uggs
Reply:Ahhh =(

I've never bought uggs, and never will. I'm vegitarian because I can't make myself eat animals (not vegan though)... But that's just so sad. SO many sheeps where killed to make all the ugg boots out there today! It's wrong. You can buy fake uggs that look the same but don't have animal skin used to make them! Have a heart, people.
Reply:obivously how could u not tell there made from animals.. almost every shoe is its eith suede or leather or sheepskin.. i hate uggs nasty little peckers but i you can get ones that are fake suede or faux fur.. .. so there u go problem solved .. by the other ones or dont wear them at all they are ugly
