Really need a winter/snow outfit! Please help?

Hi everyone. My family and I are going to the snow in about a week and I have no clothes that are snow-appropriate seeing I live in California :| Last time we went, I came down with a cold because I was only wearing a hoodie and was freezing my booty off the whole time. I want it to be something cute because the boy I really like will be with us too :D I'll tell you about me now. I'm 19 years old, Indian with really long black hair and brown skin but..its light brown with a yellow undertone if that makes any sense. I'm 5'6 and im about average weight since I'm not super skinny nor am I obese. I looooove layers and I was looking for something with a brown theme. I have this really cute brown jacket and I love the hoodie because it has faux fur on it. I also want something that deals with boots because I'm planning on buying some this weekend :D Also, I'd appreciate something not overly expensiv. Well thanks in advance everyone. This California chick really needs all the help she can get

Try wearing your jacket with an L/S top under it and a brown vest. Cute, and it doesn't get in the way! Pair it with skinny jeans and boots, and you're good to go! Don't forget the chunky accessories! Hope this helps!
