a short sleve pink show shirt(the show is in july) and a balck show coat. this is 4 a schooling show, most of the kids wear breeches and a t shirt. i have a black velvet helmet and tall boots. this is 4 a haflinger pony. her fur has a little bit of a pinkish tint

White saddle cloth


Black boots/over reach boots.


Black jacket


White or cream breeches


The pink shirt is acceptable if it is not too garish, with a matching tie/hair fastenings.


Loud and overly colourful outfits look amateur and childish.
Reply:I think that it would look better if your saddle pad matches your shirt..... but as you said....most of the kids wear breaches and a t shirt.....so do what you want.
Reply:Your outfit sounds correct, if a little formal for a schooling show. I might lose the jacket if I were you - they are not needed or expected in schooling shows, and you might actually be asked to remove it, depending on where you are and the kind of show it is.





The saddle pad and bell boots are very cute, but maybe stick to one color instead of two. Two might be too many - you don't want to stick out for the wrong reasons. Good luck!
