I want to look good, But the style I like is getting snickers.?

I am 31 years old I am also 6'1 and a full figured woman. I choose to wear what styles I Iike no matter what the style is at the time, I choose to be me. But I absolutley love the boot over the jean style and the coats with the fur hoods. I recently purchased a baby phat coat of my dreams and after long searching a pair of boots that fit. But I get snickers, I was told that it's because im white? does it really matter what race I am or color skin to determine what I can and can't wear, or is it just my size being tall and large? or is it because I am a bit older? but whatever it is I am feeling very uncomfortable wearing what I love? why?

You are 31! Go with what you like. Are you trying to dress to impress someone else? White? What has that got to do with anything? Does it make you feel good? Life live now because later is too late.
Reply:are you wearing make up? when you wear baby phat wear make up (but not too much and make sure you show off the BP symbol (i do it everytime i walk with my chanel purse)

It does not matter what race you are, how tall you are, everyone has their own tast and their own right to wear whatever they want!!! Don't feel uncomfortable, be proud that you are brave enough to wear what you want and like !!!!
