4 those of u who own UGGS, would u change ur mind if u knew they killed sheep 2 make them?

After helping popularize UGGs, Pamela Anderson is now boycotting the boots after learning they're made from real sheepskin.





"I'm getting rid of our Uggs," Anderson, 39, writes in her online diary.





"I feel so guilty for that craze being started around Baywatch days – I used to wear them with my red swimsuit to keep warm – never realizing that they were SKIN!"





It seems Anderson, 39, thought the boots' woolly lining was attached to a synthetic backing. In fact, the boots are made from sheepskin with the fur intact. "I thought they were shaved kindly," she writes.

well, i think a lot of the people who own uggs are so shallow, they bought them because they're a craze, and i dont think they particualrily care.





i, however, didnt buy a pair of uggs for that reason. i dont think i could bear walking around with dead sheep clutching my feet.





soooo, i bought a fake pair. fake sheepskin. the sheep are happy, and im even happier.

Reply:WHen I found out my UGGS were made from that I almost broke down crying lol. But yes I would change my mind. I might not have if it was only the fur though.
Reply:Exactly why i dont wear them i got the fake knockoffs which were even cheaper and doesnt bother me when i wear them

Reply:I will never buy a pair ever again!!!!!! But I don't think i would get rid of them. If i throw them away, it would be a waste of the poor sheep's skin.

Reply:no the are really comfy and really kool and i dont care what there made of i wouldnt care if the killed dogs to make boots.

Reply:i wouldnt change my mind. i would buy 6 more pairs. sheep are worthless as far as animals go. they are like the fat kids in elementary school, ugly, alone, and good for very little. they both even stay naturally warm in the cold!
