Dinner Party - my mother is having a fashion crisis!?

My mother is going to a dinner party this evening and she thinks what she is going to wear is so stylish. I disagree! I tried convincing her to wear something else, but it didn't work! What should I do?





She's going to wear a green plaid dress, brown boots and a huge brown fur overcoat! What a disaster!

get something you like that you want her to wear and dset it on her bed or somewhere that she will see it. Then when she sees it say mom I think this would look cute on you or something.

She may very well be 'in' fashion -- it all depends on what kind of party, the age group, and the kind of people (artists can get away with wearing anything).

Reply:Show her other stylish things go to the mall and instead of looking at things for you show her things for people her age. maybe even get some magazines and point out things that would look great on her. People don't listen sometimes they need to see for themselves show her other things just don't tell her she is wrong. Maybe do even a little what not to wear and go through her closet and update make it fun and show her that fashion is fun!
Reply:Okay instead of saying out right how hideous it is suggest an alternative that could maybe in could parts of the outfit she picked out. If she still doesn't budge hide it. LOL
