Are Uggs Real Animal?

Is the outside animal skin, and what kind? Do they have to kill the animal to get it? Is the inside real fur, and, again, what kind? And, again, do they have to kill the animal to get it? I'm either getting Uggs, or these other boots that have real fur on the outside. But I don't like the whole killing animals for fur and skin thing. So I just want to know if Uggs are real animal so I can feel like the other boots are just as kind-of-wrong as Uggs. Thanks!

yes it is sheep.of course they have to kill it.same with the fur.if u dont like the killing of animals then why buy them?

Reply:UGGs are sheep fur but the process of making UGGs doesnt cause death to sheep, they just shave them. and sheep need to be shaved for the summer or they would die of heatstroke... lol
Reply:The outside is suede so i dont think it is fur and the inside is real i think it is lamb or sheep or something.
