OMG its about time! Ive been wanting one for about 3 months now...to all who knows about mah son (my old cat) i never found him :( but i have a new kitten now. I have only had him for like 2 days. He is a orange kitten who is about 6 or 8 weeks old and he has these off black spots on his back...so i am having some difficulty naming him. So far, i have come up with ant, because hes so tiny. then i came up with puss n boots...if u ever seen Shrek this name is pretty self explanatory. i also came up with garfield because of the color and furby because he looks just like one...like he just came out of the dryer or something...lol! Um also he looks like an old man because his fur is white around his mouth...not to mention he has a long brown stripe on his nose. So i dunnu what to name him. if it'll help, i will post a pic link so u guys can see him for ur selves. but that'll be l8ter...
Need a name for my kitten.?

Reply:How about "spotted little white mouthed, striped nosed kitty"?
Seriously, I think he sounds like a Picasso or maybe Tigger or perhaps even Patches. Or there's always Camo --- short for camoflage because it sounds like he was trying to camoflage himself with that stripe and white around his mouth.
Have fun with him whatever you name him --- I'd probably call him "furball" and just snuggle up with him for a while --- the name will come to you when it's right.

What is THE WARMEST clothing for the EXTREM cold?
What is THE WARMEST clothing for EXTREMELY
cold and windy weather?
Fur (what sort)? Leather? Synthetics (what sort)?
IMPORTANT:
I ride a motorcycle
even when it's well under 30°C.
At 60 mhp the wind chill can make it as if it were
as low as -10°C with the wind cutting you to the core.
And when your just siting on the bike you don't generate
much body heat (little movement).
I think I may need
mittens (made of ?), boots (made of ?),
underwear/base layer (made of ?), insulating layer/s
(made of ?), and a outer or shell layer/coat (made of ?)
made for a place like ANTARCTICA in bad weather
(-89.4°C/-129°F with hi winds).
I nearly don't care what it looks like.
I just don't want to be cold.
What is THE WARMEST clothing for the EXTREM cold?
Go to a store like Mountain Equipment Co-op or a similar camping outfitters store and see what they can tell you. Since they outfit people who go camping in the Arctic (crazy people!) I'm sure they can tell you how to keep warm while being active.
Reply:POLAR FLEECE
Reply:-Mittens: Rabbit fur. (Or perhaps fake. It won't help as much.)
-Boots: Rabbit fur and/or leather. If with leather, make sure there's cotton inside.
-Base layer: Cotton. Perhaps wear two layers of underwear.
-Insulating layer(s): Cotton.
Coat: Rabbit fur.

What you need is a heated suit,it plugs in to a cigarette lighter (you may have to have one installed on your bike)
My boss rides his Goldwing and him and his wife have them,he says they are great. They have an adjustable thermostat.
I think he paid like $300 for them but they are worth the money.
Check out some magazines or at the dealer......it might be more cost effective than buying all that other stuff you want.
Reply:It is important to think in terms of layers. The more thin, light layers you can ware the better. These layers trap a very good insulator - air - and slows the loss of your body heat. Top this off with a duck-down insulated, wind-proof jacket.
Reply:Get Ugg boots and they are warm but put like four layers of socks under them lol....
For a coat-get a northface they are warm and then put like a leather jacket on top of it.
I'm sure if you look on google for stuff you will find it
Reply:fur like the eskamoes were!
Reply:Get Goretex clothes insulated with synthentic down, such as Holofil or Quallofil. Those are good even for the Sourth Pole.
Reply:I wear a snowmobile suit, scarf, mittens that go halfway to the elbow (5-finger gloves won't keep your fingers warm) and rubber boots - like totes, over your regular shoes.
Get a fairing also.
Reply:Gortex boots w/ socks that don't sweat. layers, wool, down.
Check the ski shops/ hunting deptartments or on-line ordering.
Cabello's outdoor type places. The hunters layer up and sit out in the wind and cold for hours.
Reply:WOOL, WOOL,WOOL!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Her in the far northern part of Canada we wear of lot of Down filled clothing great for holding the heat in..plus fleece pants
Reply:i have a synthetic jacket that i bought from steve and barry's for $10... that thing gets hot! so i would recomend synthetic insulation (you definatly want a bubble jacket)... for gloves, you want something thats a tough fabric that doesn't let wind pass... i wouldn't recomend leather, it doesn't stay very warm.... there are other fabrics out there (can't think of the name.. it has the same kind of qualities as yard gloves, only with a lot of fur inslulation).... scarves are always good, tie them and wrap them up underneath your jacket... turtlenecks, long johns, and uggs... wearing the long johns under your jeans will keep your legs warm enough.
Reply:Goretex, its fullwwindproof its what we use in the army
Reply:I would say thermal underwear is pretty important as it stops body heat from escaping and covers the whole body. Other than that I'd say that leather is the most practical thing to wear if your riding a motorbike - you need something hugs the body and is easy to move in.
Reply:i would go with cotton, and cotton flannel, except for the outmost layer, which you can get a leather jacket and pants,,,, and layers ,layers layers,,,, go for a turtle neck sweater,,,leather gloves with a cotton lining , stay away from synthetic for the inner layers,,
Reply:Wool, leather, and lots of layers.
Reply:Get a windscreen for the bike. it is much more comfortable than hiding behind the headlamp and gas tank.
I tend not to ride motorcycle cause of the black ice on the roads. You is just an accident looking for a place to happen.

Should i weeeeeeear?
should i wear this 2 school 2morrow
dark jeans, velvet wedge boots (with the jeans tucked in) they go as high as the knee with some fur at the top (faux) then a tanktop and a white baby phat vest with accessories?
good? bad? other opinions?
Should i weeeeeeear?
make sure its like not too tight or trashy looking. i like the whole vest idea though, with like a bunch of long necklaces.
Reply:why so much??? go with a simpler look
Reply:cute. but I think you would want a long sleeve t-shirt under the vest. in like a pretty, neutral color like brown.
Reply:sounds good to me but i would go with a long sleeve instead of tank top (it might look funny wearing boots like that and then wearing a tank) : ]
Reply:i think that's leaning more towards fall..try to squeeze in a few more summer outfits before it gets to coooold!! how about lose the vest, and if the tanktop is just a solid color, funk it up with bright, big, colorful jewelery. if its not solid, wear a simple necklace or bracelet. oh and..LOSE THE BOOTS! try a pair a flip flops or some cute tennies =) good luck!

Do you like my short story?
Christmas Horse
Written By: Alexis R
“You have to take good care of that Saya. It belonged to me when I was a child.” Saya’s mother had just given her a beautiful clay horse with jewels for eyes, and black paint for fur. Saya looked at it in a daze.
“I will I promise Mommy!” Saya reached over to her mother and wrapped her arms around her. “Thank you so much Mommy!”
“Why don’t you go show Daddy?”
“Yes ma’am!” Saya ran into the kitchen, where her dad was busy making a Christmas dinner.
“Look Daddy! Look what Mommy gave me for Christmas!” Saya’s dad lifted her up onto the counter and looked at the small clay horse.
“Wow, isn’t this pretty? You better go put it somewhere safe!”
“I will Daddy!” Saya ran up the stairs to her small horse covered room. Saya lover horses, and always wanted one to take care of. Saya was only ten and couldn’t handle one yet. She always went out with her grandpa, and helped him take care of his horses. Saya went every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Every day she went she got ten dollars. Saya had been saving that money in her giant piggy bank, that way when her parents thought she was old enough to buy one. She’d been helping for two years now.
Saya struggled as she tried to put the little clay horse on top of her dresser. She finally did and took a step back to admire how it looked. Her attention was drawn to outside though. She’d heard a small whinny outside her house. There were no horses in the area, so she pulled on her coat and boots and went outside.
“Merry Christmas sweetie,” Her parents and grandpa stood outside in the snow, holding with a lead rope a beautiful black pony mare.
“Now you have to come over and help every day so you can see YOUR horse.” Her grandfather said. She simply stood on the porch, motionless. They could see that there were tears falling down her cheeks. She looked up.
“Thank you so much! But how did you get the money to pay for her?”
“We didn’t you did. You saved up all that money over these two years, you had enough to buy her.” Her mom answered. But before she could finish, Saya was hugging the Pony and family.

She'd been helping Grandpa for two years now. Every day she went to help, she recieved ten dollars. Saya had been saving that money in her giant piggy bank; that way when her parents thought she was old enough to buy one, she would be able to buy it herself.
As Saya struggled to put the little clay horse on top of her dresser. She finally did and took a step back to admire how it looked. Her attention was drawn to outside, though. She’d heard a small whinny outside her house. There were no horses around where she lived, so she pulled on her coat and boots and went outside.
“Merry Christmas sweetie.” Her parents and grandpa stood outside in the snow, holding with a lead rope a beautiful black pony.
“Now you have to come over and help every day so you can take care of your own pony,” her grandfather said. She simply stood on the porch, motionless. They could see that there were tears falling down her cheeks. She looked up.
“Thank you so much! But how did you get the money to pay for her?” Saya questioned through damp eyes.
“We didn’t! You did. You saved up all that money over these two years, and you finally had enough to buy her. We took your money and bought her for you!” her mom answered. But before she could finish, Saya was hugging the pony and her family.
